Since its inception, Lock-Block Ltd. and its affiliated licensees have revolutionized how heavy walls are built throughout Western Canada and the Pacific States. This success spread East to Ontario and New York State at the turn of the century. 

This Green Technology is now available in Manitoba for the first time. 

Lock-Block™ and its patented bolt-together variation Rod-Lock™ are Green because our Standard blocks are made from upcycled surplus concrete from a quality ready-mix concrete producer. 

Upcycling is an improvement over recycling in two ways: First it eliminates the energy required to further process and recycle waste materials. Second, the products produced by this upcycling replace products made with virgin materials.  

The further advantage of upcycling is the dramatic reduction in the cost of producing our blocks. This saving is passed along to the end user. It’s a win for all of us as well as the environment.
