We invented the mass concrete block forty years ago. Our product is an engineered system that has exacting tolerances and can be safely lifted. Most, if not all, of our competitors will not guarantee the safe lifting of their blocks or provide an engineering report on the embedded lifting hardware. This means the liability passes to the person lifting the block. Not a risk worth taking!
-
Safety, Stability and increased resistance to displacement, as an example: When sand is pushed
up against a wall with a front end loader the block wall could tilt slightly backwards opening the
horizontal joints. Sand can enter this gap and over time the entire wall can be out of alignment.
Bolting the units together eliminates this problem and also stabilizes the top row from toppling if hooked by the leading edge of the front-end loader. On fabric roofed structure the bolting together of units decreases the chance of the roof lifting the top row of blocks in a high wind. We patented this method of progressively bolting courses of blocks together.
